Man I was at last's game and was begging the cop near me all night to have his buddies snipe Nomar and any other Red Sox they felt like. No dice! The bullpen blew it for the Yanks, isn't that what Boston usually does?

It's okay though, I threw the gauntlet down in the Boston thread. NO MORE RED SOX WINS IN 2003! Go in there and back me up! Show your Yankee pride tonight and root our team to victory over these "cowboyed up" bums! Down with Pedro! Down with Manny! Down with the Red Sox! Florida, we'll see ya on Saturday! GO YANKEES!

Tonight is scary.

But I REFUSE to believe that the Babe would allow the same SOB who said he could 'take him' to win game seven in his own house.

It just wouldn't be possible. It *can't* be.

Enjoy your win. It must be very sweet to have had it gift wrapped by that moron Grady Little.

If Zimmer does retire at the end of the season Joe may want to bring him on as the bench coach. He won't be here next season.

The Red Sox deserve some respect(not Manny or Pedro). Wakefield was great in those other games.

The greatest pleasure(other than the actual win) was seeing Pedro blow the lead.

It was a great series. I'm unhappy with the final outcome but it was proof of how great Baseball can be.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

That game has since ended three hours ago, and I'm still walking around with a stunned little smile on my face.

I.....thank you, Mike Mussina for keeping us in the game! Thank you, Mo Rivera for those three flawless innings. Bless you, Giambi for those two solo homeruns that kept hope alive. And AARON BOONE, THANK YOU FOR FINALLY SHOWING UP!!!!! WHAT A SHOT!!!!!! He's like now the Bucky Dent of this generation.....I...and it was sooooo nice for him to do it while his brother was in the broadcast booth. I was so insanely happy for him.

What an insane, unbelievable, and wonderful game. Instant classic.

I'm still buzzed. happy happy happy happy
