Pettite announced that he won't make a decision until December. Rumor has it that Houston offered him a 3 year contract.
With all this activity going on, who says the off-season is boring. Let the bidding wars begin!

pitchers now-a-days are only gonna get 3 year contracts.


The Rockies mistakes of 7 year contracts to Hampton and Neagle, cost every pitcher from here to eternity.

The Latest is Aaron Boone was given a 1 year contract for $5.75M

Enrique Wilson was re-signed.

Sheffield seems to be a done deal.

Tom Gordon is also close to signing with the Yanks.

Other news: The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired slugger Richie Sexson from Milwaukee in a nine-player deal Monday that sent infielder Craig Counsell and second baseman Junior Spivey to the Brewers.
First baseman Lyle Overbay, catcher Chad Moeller and left-handers Jorge De La Rosa and Chris Capuano also were dealt to Milwaukee
