ok, first of all, sorry to ask such a simple question. I read the FAQs, but I can't find a direct answer to my question. So I am building a lightsaber hilt based on bigyellowbox plan VI (the Vader style). So I brought the parts list to home depot and I was able to get everything except this: Length of 1 1/4" PVC, 160 psi rated. He explains this about the part: There are different types of PVC. The stuff you want is the thin walled type. Why it's called 1-1/4", I don't know. Nothing on it is 1 1/4". Just be sure to test fit it over a 1 1/2" metal tube before you buy it. Ok, so I went to home depot and Ace Hardware. Both told me I need Sch 20 PVC instead of Sch 40. Of course neither store carried sch 20. the photo from bigyellowbox shows the pvc with the following written on it: 1-1/4 silver-line pvc-1120 sdr-26 pr. 160 Does this mean "sch 20." Normally PVC says sch20 or sch40 on it. I don't know what sdr-26 is. The "silverline" is the company that sells to Lowe's. There isn't a Lowe's nearby. Can someone help me decipher this so I can clearly explain to the workers at home depot what I need? thank you for your help!
