The shoes... I spent about three hours yesterday going about town trying to find what I thought they are... low heeled mules. They should have been easy to find, right? No. They are dyeables, with a strap on the back. (sorry, I don't have a picture). Dying them a light lavendar would make them perfect!

RE: Rainbow dress
Thanks you guys! *blush* I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Looking at my pictures again, it really looks like there's a severe blue band around the bottom of the dress. It's not quite like that IRL...the blue fades a bit more. Not sure why it looks so different in the pictures. *shrug*
Bit of a breather now before I start on the mantle on Monday!

RE: Rainbow dress
Yes, the shoes did take a while to find. But it was all worth it. Now, all I have to do is sew the lavendar tapestry fabric onto the headbands, add the beads onto that, and finish transcribing an interview all by Friday and I'll be offically done! Then, there's always the necklace, which thanks to my dad, it getting made sometime this week while I do homework

RE: Rainbow dress
Well, if you read through this thread, there is a lot of information covered here. Also, Maggie has several pages at the Padawan's Guide about it, including Ferd's directions for dying the fabric and assembling the dress (
http://www.padawansguide.com/pastel.shtml
). Those should both help.
