I had a bad experience with corndogs once involving the freezer in the garage going out and me not realizing until I took a bite and the hot dog inside was crunchy. And black. After 2 years, I'm finally able to eat them again, but I have to check them still before I'll bite them....

My monday hasn't been too bad, I had to rush to print some charts for customers that were coming out to our site, got a free lunch out of it (even though it was just a sandwich and chips because our cafeteria sucks now), and then somehow killed 4 hours going over stuff with the lady that just came back from vacation and bs'ing about general crap.... and there was a fire alarm in there at some point so I got to hang out in the nice brisk sunshine for about 10 minutes...

Now I just have another hour to go and I'm eating my yoghurt and drinking some sparkling tea, so life isn't too bad.

Well, its day one of my new schedule, day one with my new manager, day one of several software updates on the three most vital systems we use, and day one of no child at home...should be interesting to say the least.

It's monday, and I just realized there's only at most 10 1/2 weeks until this baby shows up... shock

The last one was early by about 2 weeks... I guess I should start thinking about getting ready for this kid... maybe talk to our HR and my boss to see how much time I can take off (if any besides my vacation), think about where the baby stuff might be at and what needs to be cleaned, see if we can still sign up for the lamaze refresher course (THAT'S what I forgot to do!), and decide if we want to subject the kids to the 'sibling' course again. The video from that was made in the 70's and its' message is 'your parents will have no time for you now, suck it up' only much more direct.
