So I thought I would throw that out there, we would like to have the Holiday Meeting/Gift Exchange craziness this year. It would have gone along nicely with Winterfest Fireworks and everything but my company party is that night.

Then that brings up the question of, do you really want to come back over the next weekend for the meeting? If not, please someone else speak up now, my feelings will not be hurt, I think gift exchange would be a little cramped here anyway.

#1 item for discussion is they are having a tree decoration contest, $30 for an organization and I think it would be a great way to get the RMFF's name out there, and besides, who doesn't like SW? I can find out he details but last year bigo tires & grease monkey had decorated one, kinda lame but they had coupons on them, we can put our 1/4 page flyers on it. Need to talk about what else, because you may never see it again sad who knows.

#2 Thornton Winterfest is always fun, Santa's there, ice skating for $2 or something like that, decorations, food vendors and just fun stuff.

Let's chat it up!

Edit the entire thing due to me being busy sad I really wanted this to work out this year cry I'm missing the pretty white fireworks again.

Please re=read my original post and look at the title.

yes to guitar, jack but no motorcycles, do that in your own house.

If someone else would like to host the Holiday Party on the 3rd weekend, then go ahead OR if you don't mind coming to our house 2 weekends in a row, then we can host that too.

I really wanted us to see fireworks, but it's just not going to work out this year

I'm a little confused. So, you're offering for us to decorate a tree at your place on the 11th and the tree would be at the Thornton Winterfest. But you wouldn't be able to go to the Winterfest for the fireworks that Saturday the 12th since it conflicts with your company's party.

And you want to host the December meeting/holiday party/gift exchange, but are worried that people won't want to come over to your place for the next weekend for a separate holiday party/meeting.

I think I've got that right, but if I misunderstood let me know.

You got most of it.

The tree is located at WinterFest, not my house, and we can hang out & chat w/ people & do the activities. (Don't know the 'actual' decoration day, it might me Thurs. nite, so if we decide to do this I will need help w/ that too)

My original plans were to have the meeting/party at the same time as Winterfest & fireworks, that can not happen because we will not be home on the 12th.

That make the meeting the following weekend, the 19th, if someone else wants to host it, fine by me since my plans have been ruined by my company party's date being on the same day.

My company's party is on the 11th, so we wouldn't be able to make that night. My vote is to have the meeting separate from this decorating party, in case anybody was considering that. Perhaps on the 20th so the Sith couple can make it? Perhaps this is a separate discussion and thus needs a separate thread from this one.
