My point is that your and Hydromium's entire argument is built on guilt by association. The fact that heads of these groups are criminals is, according to your words, proof that every Corporation, planet and individual ever associated with the central six megacorps (which I should stress are not whole bodies in and of themselves but rather associations of many corporations and governments) and that it is completely unfeasible, in spite of the common knowledge of how corrupt the Republic is, that some members of these umbrella organizations feign neutrality.

The Bin Laden thing was a specific counter-point to an earlier comment that Nute Gunnery's status as criminal should have ended trade with the worlds of his species or any organization he was affiliated with.

It's not like Gunray has gone rogue or anything- he's still Viceroy of the Trade Federation and in control of it's assets and operations, which includes much of the Confederacy's army and funds used to place huge bounties on Padme as a personal vendetta.

It's not like we're talking about his younger brother, Tode Gunray, as a guilt by association. We're talking about a publicly known criminal still actively controlling the organization, everyone within it working for him, and using it's assets to wage war.

The CIS leaders aren't simply affiliated with these organisations - they are the leaders of them. If Bill Gates or Steve Ballmer had openly joined Al Qaeda while retaining leadership of Microsoft I very much doubt people would be saying, "Oh, Microsoft's not really involved".

Even that's a step below what's happening here, because it's not just Gunray—the Trade Federation, as an organization, is actually a signatory to a treaty with the CIS. I'm not going to try to extend that Gates/Al Qaeda analogy further lest it break apart and cloud the issue, so I'll use a real example.

Representatives of the 13 Colonies, authorized by their leadership, signed a declaration of rebellion in the American Revolution. This is like saying that "Only the leaders of the colonies were allied with the revolutionaries, and the revolutionaries just happened to share the same military forces with the colonies. The colonies themselves are neutral in the war."

Regardless, the animated series is better than all the other crap that has come out. Like everything else, we need more seasons so that more episodes can be added and cover different demographics becuase at the end of the day regardless of all the debates about what. Star Wars is visual with moving picture and music.

There's no episode this week because of Halloween (I'm guesing) and the next episode looks to be a two-parter, so maybe they didn't want a big break between them (hence, no episode last week).

Didn't they say a while ago there was going to be a "Halloween" episode? I had first thought it was about the zombie episode, but that seems to have been pushed back. Unless that's included in this next episode... which I doubt.

The OS still has the timeslot listed as Friday night.
