Either her legs were truncated during the war or Anakin's been giving Ahsoka those steroids he's been on.

Not exactly what I meant, but that's a good observation too. tongue

TCW Ahsoka and Luminara, for reference.

Is this some kind of test? I don't like mind games!

Uh... they're using a similar model? Like Luminara's? Complete with arm-bands?

Lightsaber hilt?

As a random aside, I've gotten so used to Coffee posting here and on IRC that I always think that Barriss Offee is spelled wrong

Yeah, that happens to me too tongue

And as far as Barriss in TCW, she doesn't look anything like in AOTC, but she does look exactly the same as in the previous CW series.

My guess is Rouge is referring to her tiny cape or her more prominent bewbz.

I assume he's referring to her Clone Wars Wonder Bra.

Hey, it's me. tongue

Seriously, though. Her TCW design has a double whammy of anorexia + implants. It just strikes me as odd, for some reason.

I have to retract my implication that this is a new phenomenon, though, since it appears the microseries did it all first.

Not really sure what the canon status of this is, but TOS posted a special script Dave Filoni prepared for the actors to live read at the recent Fan Days convention. The scenes take place between "Senate Spy" and "Landing at Point Rain". More on the neutrality of the CIS corporations:

Script posted:
ANAKIN

Go ahead, laugh it up, but in the end the risks BOTH of us took paid off. Lott Dod, is a traitor; everything the Jedi have been reporting about the Trade Federation and the Banking Clan is true.

OBI-WAN

And I'm certain that you never let your emotional involvement get the better of you and you brought back proof of these claims?

ANAKIN

Proof?!! Padmé was poisoned what further proof do we need!

OBI-WAN

Anakin, if the Senate or the Chancellor were willing to act based solely on the word of the Jedi, then the corporations would have been put to trial years ago.

PADMÉ

He's right, Anakin. I've seen the accusations against the Trade Federation come up in the Senate and they always fall on deaf ears. We couldn't even convict Gunray after he invaded Naboo.

As to the Geonosis situation, apparently the Republic did leave a clone occupation force on the planet, but a "revolt" has taken place:

Script posted:
REX

This is Captain Rex, 501st recon mission to Geonosis. Upon arrival in orbit we were unable to establish any communication with the clones on the surface. A preliminary scan indicated massive construction in both the northern and southern hemispheres of the planet. There appear to be several droid factories which are already operational, and many more in the final phases of construction. This goes far beyond a simple revolt, we are looking at a full scale invasion of the planet if we want to take it back. I shall provide a further break down of the planet's defenses that we scanned when my mission is complete. Rex out.

Here's the link to the actual video for that script.

I think the most critically important point brought up in the video's script that has profound implications for the rest of the series is that Rex likes his coffee.

Wonder how canon it is- there's at least some insight into the directorial intent of some things (ie: Anakin was only gone "a couple days" could be noteworthy for eventual timeline jiggering, the reassembly of the doctor droid places this story definitely after Lair of Grievous, etc).

It also connects the Spy episode into these second season stories. Until I saw this script, I was thinking the Spy episode might be very early, even before the TCW film, based on Filoni's comments in Jason Fry's Episode Guide about the lack of Ahsoka indicating that a story is early.

"Adaption" is not an English word.
Ahsoka is annoying; seeing "Ashoka" typed is even more annoying.
"Begs the question" does not mean "raises the question"

Did I hear Cody say he wasn't at the original Battle of Geonosis? doh!

Other than that, though, this was a decent episode. The catacombs scenes reminded me of Republic Commando, which is good.
