CloneUncleOwen posted:Let's give the writer's at LUCASFILM and poor Ki-Adi a break. Most of the writers at LUCASFILM are not of this Earth, and have a problem with the language(s). As for Ki-Adi's apparent break in continuity, he's just as guilty as a blind person saying, "I'll see you later," or something along those lines. Considering that Anakin is married, Ahsoka is going dark faster than sunset at the equator, and Yoda and Obi-Wan can't sense who Palpatine really is, Ki-Adi is actually one of the smarter Jedi.

CaptainYossarian posted: Presumably all Jedi do not believe in luck (or do not place great emphasis on it), yet even in the OT they could be said to make some references to it. In ANH Obi-Wan tells Han that he does not believe in luck, yet earlier he told Luke that he was "fortunate to be all in one piece" after the Tusken attack. Similarly, in ROTJ Yoda tells Luke how it was "unfortunate" that he rushed off to face Vader.
