I was going to wait until the August DCC was over to make one if you didn't Liz tongue

Just so everyone knows, MidSouth does indeed have a table again this year, so all Chapters please bring whatever promotional materials you'd like (including banners; we'll rotate them throughout the con). If anyone wants to volunteer for table duty we'll start taking signups sometime in September, I think; waiting to hear back from Ben as far as preliminary programming goes as Austin Fan Force will have one of the main stages this year for the annual trivia contest.

Speaking of, if anyone would like to donate prizes it would be greatly appreciated! grin

Keep in mind these are under 'Austin Fan Force' events; I know Chris from Houston has an event page for Fan Days III as well.

This con is going to be CW-heavy; the voices of ObiWan, Ahsoka Tano, the clones, and Ventress have been added, as well as Anthony Daniels appearing Saturday only, and even then you need VIP or SpeedPass to get him as he won't be there the entire day.

Well I've got good news and bad news.

I started a new job this week that requires weekend hours. And I have been scheduled to work the weekend of Fan Days so Joe and I will be unable to attend. sad

Horrible. Yours truly and the wife spent $150 on a VIP and Speedpass tickets, and we were the only ones to work the table the entire weekend. JediMelis skipped out, even though the table was her idea, and the only ones to stop by the table to say hi were Grimby and DieWompratDie from RMFF, and I think Chris from Houston Fan Force. Shame on EVERYBODY who cries they can't gwet new members, we offered everyone a chance to drop off flyers, or cards, ANYTHING to promote their groups and the region. Y'all can go to hell, I quit.
