I'm sorry to hear about Connors, but I am glad to hear Stottlemyre is staying. And I'm glad to hear about Tom Gordon, too.

Of course, Pettitte would be the best Christmas present of all, but I think that goes without saying....

Won't happen.

Jeter's the *Captain* and a fan favorite. Not to mention, he's actually an *excellent* player in his own right. And he puts a lot of teeny bopper butts in the seats.

So, yeah, I say it again: Jeter would NEVER get traded. You can quote me on that.

My stomach is turning at the thought of A-Rod for Manny Ramirez. If that happens word is that Garciapara will be traded as well.

Well ,our worst fear has come true. Pettitte has just signed with the Astros 39 million fro 3 years. As much as it hurts, Steinbrenner deserves to lose him. If he wasn't so preoccupied trying to get malcontents like Sheffield and Lofton, he could have tried to roll out the carpet to keep Andy.

I'm gonna miss him and that Serial Killer look in his eyes whenever he gets ready to pitch. Best of luck, Andy!

I can live with it though. As long as he didn't go to Boston, I'll do nothing but wish him well. He wants to be close to his family and I think he's earned it thus far.
