Yes it does. It reminds me that Yankee fans are about as un-original as they come. Saying "Oh yeah... well what about 1918?" is as clever as calling someone with glasses "four-eyes".

Come up with some new material and we'll see you in October, that is if your beloved Yankees can shore up the holes in the pitching staff by then!

I'm not panicked at all.

The BoSox will pull their classic fall on their face stumble this year...much like every year.


But there is a reason that we can say that...we have an owner that actually cares about winning...unlike some of the other owners out there.

The BoSox try to build a team to beat the Yankees every year...and every year they fail. And I say this because a lot of times they cannot beat the other teams in the league, when they become short-sighted.

Yeah well I hate to say it but it looks like this year they may have done just that. Some of the recent additions to the Yanks are just absurd.

Tony Clark?
Kenny Lofton?
Kevin Brown?
Tom Gordon?


Nah. As much as it hurts to say, this is Boston's year for the division.

The Yankees picked up Tony Clark? The same Clark that the Sox dropped after his "promising" year with the Tigers (that should have been enough of a clue) two years ago? Old Georgie boy really is getting soft in his old age.

I am amazed no one has mentioned Clemems coming out of "retirement" to sign a 1 year deal with the Astros.

I am officially sick with this one. I hope Clemens & Pettitte have terrible seasons. I now hate the vity of Houston even more. Something about that city I never liked, kinda like Seattle as well.

Many of these Yankee signings are questionable. I am not overly thrilled with them, but I wont judge them until about a month into the season.

I am laughing at the Red Sox fans complaining about what Yankee fans say. I guess they would be tired of it after all these years. Someday the BoSox will win and then all the fans will act like the biggest BLEEPS imaginable. This Yankee fan will just say every dog has his day...even if they had to wait years for it. I do not know what is worse a sore loser or a really bad winner.

Watch out for those Angels. They will be the team to beat in the AL.

The Yanks just made the acquisition that will make everything better. They just signed Jerry Krause to be the special assistant in baseball operations. Just think, we can have Bill Wennington, Will Perdue, and Bill Cartwright in the outfield.
