Senators,

Please ignore the previous SOF. This is the current one.

State of the Federation:

The Galaxy is in turmoil. Threatening to tear apart at the seams. The attack by the Yuuzhan Vong has created an uproar. The Yuuzhan Vong have taken many of our planets and killed its citizens. They drove the Senate from its home on Coruscant, to Mon Calamari. With the war escalating it is important that we come up with a decision on how to win this war. We are running low on supplies, and forces that if we do not have a victory soon defeat is enevitable. Many have expressed the desire for democracy. Others believe that military arms is the only way to win. The Senate must decide.

With a war on ships and soldiers are in high demand. If we are to continue to fight this war we are going to need more ships and soldiers. The fleet is already stretched thin. A boost of fresh reinforcements is what we need to bring the morale back up. We also need a victory. With morale so low a victory is what our men need to continue.

Economy for the Alliance is bad. The war has made hyperspace lanes very dangerous to travel. Many of the bigger buisnesses get a lot of what they sell from offworld. The senate needs to come up with a solution to this problom, or our economy is going to fall apart completely.

We have a few crisis' on our hands that need to be taken care of. It is important that the Senate decides on some of these quickly.

We are in danger. We need clones we can deal with the ethics later we need fresh troops now. The economy is in ruins. if we build up enough defense contracts we can recover this to as well. Troops need food and clothing ect...

Example. If the GA were to give Kamino rights to clone an army using Spaarti Technoligy and in conjuction with our own secret Clonng methods. We would need food to feed them and armor and beds ect.... which in turn we would buy from other planets and sprak the growth.

And a plus side of clones is train them to obey The GA so no more of the type of Desaster of the Coruscant when fleets left back to there homeworlds. and that proves together we can stand and fight off the vong or divided we will fall, Or we can try and negioate with them again But Kamino will have no part of the Diplomatic talks unless otherwise ordered to by our agreement to be apart of this Federation.

And as you can tell Kamino says lets take this fight back to Vong before they destory our fighting capabilties and way of life.

Well here in JMuystafar we have several Advanced Battle Droid Factories.

We have extensive knowledge of using our natural resources to the upmost adavntages, and the factories are deep underground - perfect for warding off any attack.

And with Battle Droids we do not need worry about Casulties

Yeah but as your forefathers found out living beings are much better suited for combat. We can use droids though to support a war and reduce the burden on Live troops.But with that all diplomatic talks won't work. But in the end we will need an army of living beings to win. Droids alone won't win the war. And last I saw Kamino isn't even on the star charts. though if the Yuuzhan Vong do find us we will fight. and also who isn't to say that after the Galatic Empire invaded we rebuilt new cloning facilties. And there wasn't any survivors that we put in Cryogenisis. We have a total of only 600 units of ARCs trained by Original Cul de Var that were never delivered to the Republic because of Failure to pay by the Galatic Empire and so we stuck them in cryo stasis to keep for a rainy day as you humans would say and Kamino had need to defend herself from outside foreces.

It begs to be pointed out, Senator, that droids can be constructed a lot more quickly than clones can. I shudder to think that if theb Alliance requested clones from Kamino as urgently as we need droids.

The Allaince can order the droids and have them hold off the enemy while we prepare a clone army. I was just saying that the war can not be won on droids alone. And the clones can help economically.

I do not pretend to be an expert on this, but clones need time to grow, do they not? How much time would be needed for the numbers that will be needed.

OOC: I am assuming Science Has Marched On since the days of the Old Republic, so it could be less than ten years though not much less.

I agree with Senator thomasmontgomery. I believe that we need troops in order to defend ourselves.

I have spoken with my general, and the army of the planet Endor is now at the service of the Galactic Senate.

Yes clones do take time to grow. But as of the end of the clone wars The empire was useign Spaartii Cloneing vats which shruck the time of growth to 1 year. And now after 40 years we have made break throughs. and can now produce saine fighable clones in 3 months. If the order is ever made.

I agree that we need to fight back. The time for diplomacy is over. If there is in fact anyone who can communicate with the Vong (what language do they speak? HOw are you communicating with us Montgomery? tongue )

But clones cost money and the economy is already struggling. And could you even guarantee the 3 month time frame for clone growth??
We need a well planned targeted battle plan to take back the shipping lanes as well as defend the planets most at risk. We need to fight back and restore the Republic. We are taking too much time discussing things and taking no action. We should have discussions with the Commander in Chief of the Military and discuss plans to take back the galaxy!

Kuat will pledge it's shipyards and defense fleets once the GFFA have managed to come to a conclusion or what the best source of action is concerning manpower. I concur with the honoreable senator from Kamino, clones are a much superior fighting force and we would be foolish not to take advantage of their facilities and expertise. Meanwhile, I pose another question. Where are the Jedi, surely they have not been destroyed? Where is Master Skywalker? And why haven't they been seen recently?

Just Because kamino isn't in the charts. Doesn't mean that not everyone doesn't know our corrdinates. And trust me before I left home I programmed my Navcomputer with the corridinates. And also Key personel in the GA government and military know them. And if you are trying to say I am a vong. I am not. And to be honest I really don't know what language they speak. Get a recording of a Yuuzhan Vong speaking and get a 3po droid to figure it out.

What I can say is that to get to Kamino the Yuzzhan Vong has got to go through the Hutts First. From my last examination that Kamino is on the otherside of hutt space than the Invasion route.
