I gotta share this all with you!!!!!!! Okay, a year ago I gushed on the HCEB about a seminar I went to with Jena Malone's manager, Robert Amatruda. Well, tonight, I went through the same seminar as I did last year. We had to tell him our name, what interested us (acting or modeling) and how much we were interested on a scale of 1 to 10. I did my whole mini speech like I did last year, but with a hell of a lot more bravery and self confidence... See, now, you are "graded" by A, B, or C. A is Mr. Amatruda wants to discuss your future, see's your talent, COME TO L.A!!!!! kinda deal... B is ya have talent, but it needs to be fined tuned and John Casablanca's wants to help you with that. C is no thanks, go away (okay, so not that harsh. LOL). Last year I got a B+ and so I started at JC....fast back forward to now... I'm sitting there tonight, Mr. Amatruda (He's with Amatruda Benson and Associates, btw in L.A. if you wanna look him up!) says goodbye and leaves to let the JC people take over for call backs for the A people and a test photography session for the B people. Well, Jennifer, the Director of JC had the forms (we had to fill out a form) of four people. It was four people I knew would be picked for a callback for Mr. Amatruda. So, I shrug it off and start filling out the photography form that the rest of us are supposed to fill out. Jennifer called out the names of those people and the four of them went to the back into the hallways to discuss their futures working with Mr. Amatruda. Anyways, I'm sitting there minding my own business and a staff member for JC asks me if I am already with JC. I say yes and she asks me what my name is. So, I tell her and she interrupts Jennifer in the middle of her speech and Jennifer says "OH! I forgot to pull her!" and so I'm like "Whaaaaaaa??" and so I'm shooed out into the hallway WITH THE FOUR OTHER PEOPLE!!! *spazz moment* So, I'm just standing there and my form with my headshot is given to the dude talking with us out in the hallway..... I GOT A FREAKIN' A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And so I'm told that I will be called next week (I have class on Saturday this weekend. LOL) to come in for an audition to work with Avanti/MTM and to speak to Mr. Amatruda (I think.....) about my future, discuss it. If you except nothing, you will get everything... if you expect everything, you get nothing.... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! This is Jena Malone's freakin manager....... *spazz moment*
